One request, one local conversation
Here is what Reflectcharacter Skin Consults does, in short. You send a consultation request. We pass it to a provider in or near Tacoma. The provider gets in touch with you.
That is the whole service. There is no clinic behind this site, no price list, and no booking made on your behalf. Any treatment plan comes from a licensed provider at a consultation, and the choice to go ahead is yours.
If that sounds useful, send a request. If you want to prepare first, start with questions to ask a provider.
Treatments you can ask about
You can send a request about any of the four areas below. Each one has its own page that explains, in general terms, what the treatment is, what to think about and how to prepare for a consultation.
Pick the one closest to your question. If you are not sure, choose the nearest fit and explain in your message. The provider near Tacoma can tell you more.
Facials and peels
Send a request to talk about skin treatments such as facials, peels or microneedling with a provider near you.
Injectables
Wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers, given by licensed providers where state law allows. Ask a local provider about them.
Laser hair removal
Ask a local provider how laser hair removal works with your skin and hair, how many visits they plan and what aftercare involves.
Non-surgical body treatments
General information on non-surgical body treatments and the questions worth asking before one.
Getting started
There is no account to set up and no booking made for you.
- Pick the service closest to your question and add a note.
- We pass your note to a local provider near Tacoma.
- The provider gets in touch and suggests a consultation.
- A licensed provider decides what is suitable at the consultation, and you decide if you want it.
Ask the questions that matter
Med spa treatments are real procedures, and some carry real risks. It is reasonable to ask a lot of questions before you agree to anything.
Find out who will perform the treatment and what license they hold. In Washington, state rules set who can give injectables and certain other treatments, and you can look up a license with the state board. Ask what the provider does if something goes wrong. If anyone pushes you to decide on the spot, it is fine to leave and think it over.
Before you send a request
Who decides what treatment is suitable for me?
A licensed provider decides, at a consultation, after asking about your health history and looking at the area you want treated. You then decide whether to go ahead.
What information do you share with the provider?
The details you enter on the form: your name, email, phone, the service you chose and your message. See the privacy page for more.
Is the information on this site medical advice?
No. The pages here are general information to help you understand treatments and prepare questions. Only a licensed provider who sees you can advise you. For anything that worries you, see a doctor.
What questions should I ask at a consultation?
Ask who will perform the treatment, their license and training, the device or product used, what a series involves, aftercare, what happens if something goes wrong, and the total cost. See questions to ask.
What if something worries me after a treatment?
Contact the provider who treated you. If you have pain, bleeding, swelling that gets worse, fever or signs of infection, see a doctor or seek urgent care.
